Computer Engineering Technology
The computer Engineering Technology degree program prepares graduates for work in fields focused on digital system design and automated digital control systems.
An in-depth study of the hardware and software aspects of computers and related systems are the focus of the program. The program emphasizes the application of learned concepts to solve problems relating to robotics, control, instrumentation, monitoring, data communications, networks and automated testing. Computer Engineering Technology students will have the opportunity to further focus their studies in areas such as advanced digital design using VHDL, distributed microcontrollers, and robotics during their junior and senior years. All of our advanced courses are augmented with hands-on laboratories where each student has the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in design and development.
