The graduate programs at PKFokam Institute of Excellence admit 25 students each year. Admission decisions are based on a combination of factors, including academic degrees and records, the statement of purpose, letters of recommandation, test scores and relevant work experience.

The Institute considers the appropriateness of your goals to the degree program in which you are interested and to the research interests of the program’s faculty. In addition, consideration may be given as to how your background and life experience would contribute significantly to an educationally beneficial mix of students.

Admission Requirements

PKFokam Institute of Excellence offers admission to applicants who appear to have the highest potential for graduate study and who, with the benefit of a graduate education, are the most likely to contribute substantially to their academic or professional fields through teaching, research or professional practice.

The minimum graduate admission requirements are:

  • Proof of having completed 04 successfull years of university education or an Engineering degree. However, the MBA program will consider graduates in any field.
  • Proof of having completed a 03 year dree program and 02 years of working experience.
  • A satisfactory scholastic average, usually a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B), for applicants from English-speaking universities and 14/20 for applicants from French-speaking universities. Satisfying minimal standards, however, does not guarantee your admission, since the number of qualified applicants far exceeds the number of places available. As a result, many well-qualified applicants cannot be accommodated.
  • Proof of a sufficient command of the English language (TOEFL or IELTS) to meet course study and assessment requirements in every respect. Applicants whose second language is English will be offered admission on condition that they score the accepted points at the TOEFL or IELTS before the end of the first semester.
  • A statement of purpose by the applicant
  • Three letters of recommendation (request letters from persons who have worked with you as a student and are able to comment on your accomplishments and potential for graduate education)
  • A completed application form (DOWNLOAD HERE)
  • Official transcripts of all college-level work. Official transcripts must be in sealed envelopes as issued by the school(s) you have attended. Request a current transcript from every post-secondary school that you have attended, including community colleges, summer sessions, and extension programs.
  • The admission procedure for the Business School is similar to that the admission into the Engineering programs.
