Our MBA program offers you the opportunities to explore leadership and management challenges involved in balancing social and commercial impacts of your organization; attracting and retaining talent; exploiting new technologies for superior performance; conserving resources for sustainable development; entering and expanding in markets; managing public-private partnerships; and designing efficient business processes. You will introspect on your leadership abilities and potential – how to use your leadership capabilities for personal effectiveness in organizational and societal contexts. The Graduate programs at PKFokam Institute of Excellence admit 25 students each year. Admission decisions are based on a combination of factors, including academic degrees and records, the statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, test scores, and relevant work experience.
The Institute considers the appropriateness of your goals to the degree program in which you are interested and to the research interests of the program’s faculty. In addition, consideration may be given as to how your background and life experience would contribute significantly to an educationally beneficial mix of students.
Admission Requirements
PKFokam Institute of Excellence offers admission to applicants who appear to have the highest potential for graduate study and who, with the benefit of a graduate education, are the most likely to contribute substantially to their academic or professional fields through teaching, research, or professional practice.
The minimum graduate admission requirements are:
- A bachelor’s degree and one year of undergraduate work in your chosen field (for graduates from PKFokam Institute of Excellence);
or
- For graduates from all other universities, the MBA program will consider postgraduate certificates or one successful year of graduate work in any field;
and
- A satisfactory scholastic undergraduate average, usually a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B), for applicants from English-speaking universities and 15/20 for applicants from French-speaking universities.
- Proof of a sufficient command of the English language (TOEFL);
- A statement of purpose;
- Three letters of recommendation from people who are able to comment on your accomplishments and potential for graduate education;
- A completed application form (If you prefer, you can fill your application form online at www.pkfinstitute.com
- Official transcripts of all undergraduate work. Official transcripts must be in sealed envelopes as issued by the school(s) you have attended;
- The Institute will organize a written or oral test for shortlisted applicants.
